How to Clean a Car Interior

Clean a car interior in order: dry vacuum first, then extract fabric seats and mats with the Puzzi 10/1, and finish by drying with the doors ajar. This removes sand, salt and stain residue without soaking the interior. In Vilnius — rental 15 €/day or service; 062 110 999.

What is the problem?

Fresheners only mask the smell, and moisture near electronics is a real risk.

The solution

Systematic extraction with dosed chemistry (1 €/pc), strong suction, drying with airflow. Rental 15 €/day, 25 €, 50 €; Šumsko g. 308, Vilnius, from 12 €.

How does it work?

  1. Remove items and mats; dry vacuum the whole interior.
  2. Separate leather and plastic parts from fabric zones.
  3. Work somewhere with 220V power and access to change water.
  4. Call 062 110 999 — tell us the car type and how dirty it is.
  5. Choose rental (15 €/day, 50 €) or service.
  6. Extract the seats in bands; clean mats separately.
  7. Empty the tank on time; finish with a drier pass.

Why Puzzis.lt?

Preparation before extraction

Remove loose items, mats and child seats if removable, then dry vacuum the seats, floor and gaps between them. The more sand and crumbs you remove dry, the cleaner the extraction water stays and the lower the risk of scuffing the fabric.

Work somewhere with a 220V socket and the ability to change water — a yard, garage or driveway. Protect the radio, switches and other electronics from direct contact with moisture; if the interior is mixed, clean leather and plastic parts differently from the fabric.

Extracting seats and floor mats

Use a narrow baldų nozzle for seats and backrests, working in bands with no puddles on the seams. Excess moisture in the foam dries slowly and can start to smell, so dose the chemistry exactly as instructed (1 €/pc).

The driver's seat and child seat area often need a second, drier pass — that's where most dirt accumulates. Empty the waste tank more often than at home, since car dirt fills it up faster and weakens suction.

Drying and when to sit again

Leave doors or windows safely ajar for airflow, but protect the car from rain. In summer the interior dries within a few hours; in winter plan for longer or a warmer enclosed space — cold, damp air slows drying a lot.

Dry mats outside the car rather than leaving them damp inside — otherwise the smell returns to the whole interior. Judge the result only in a fully dry cabin; if a faint smell remains, a short second cycle after a day usually helps.
