A fabric seat absorbs moisture into its fibres and the foam beneath, which suits controlled extraction. Leather behaves differently — too much moisture or the wrong chemistry can dry it out, crack it, or change its colour.

Always dry vacuum before the wet stage, using a narrow tool that reaches seams and seat edges, where most dirt collects. Only then start extraction: a thin layer of solution followed immediately by strong suction.
Dose the chemistry precisely as instructed (1 €/pc) — harsh solvents or too high a concentration can change the fabric's texture. Give stains a separate, drier second pass after the main clean.
Clean coffee, juice or food stains as soon as possible — fresh ones respond far better than old, set-in ones. This matters especially for kids' spills: the faster you react, the less deep extraction you'll need later.
Between deep cleans, regular dry vacuuming and quickly blotting spills right after they happen both help a lot. Judge the result — smell and stain appearance — only once the seat is completely dry.
