Dose the chemistry precisely (1 €/pc), work in slow lanes, and recover immediately — that way only as much moisture stays as is needed to dissolve the soil.

How does it work?

Vacuum the carpet dry and remove loose debris.
Prepare the solution as instructed — don't overdose the chemistry.
Start from a corner and guide the floor tool in slow, straight lanes.
Pass over each lane a second time immediately, without more solution.
Empty the dirty-water tank once it fills — a full tank weakens suction.
After covering the whole area, check for any damper patches and repeat only those.

Getting the Solution Dose and Pace Right

The manufacturer's dose (1 €/pc) is calibrated to dissolve soil without leaving a sticky film in the pile. Overfilling the tank or pouring liquid 'by eye' just means more work for the suction and a longer drying time.

Guide the tool slowly, almost like sweeping the floor — don't yank it. Each lane should slightly overlap the previous one so no strip is left unwashed.

When a Second (Rinse) Pass Helps

If the carpet was very dirty or you used more chemistry than usual, a second pass with clean water only — after the main wash — flushes out remaining detergent residue.

Do the rinse pass without adding more solution, just running the tool back over the same lanes — the pile stays cleaner and dries faster.
